Mt. Taylor Winter Quadrathlon

If you've never heard of the Mt. Taylor Winter Quadrathlon, then you need to get off your bike trainer in the winter and head down to New Mexico to partake in this epic multisport event. It's a 42-mile round trip race that takes you from the town of Grants up to the top of Mt. Taylor at more than 11,000 feet. You have to bike, run, cross country ski, and snowshoe to the summit, then turn around and repeat it all back down to town.

Since I wasn't able to go this year, I interviewed three top athletes on their endurance history, training specific for the event and, if I must say so myself, came up with some pretty good reading material!
